Tanusree De is an Executive Director in EY GDS Consulting. She leads AI in APAC region and Responsible AI globally. As GDS APAC AI Leader, Tanusree drives transformative AI programs for EY clients across industries and functions. And as a Global Responsible AI leader, Tanusree provides technical leadership to build solutions and best practices for risk management of AI. She also provides advisory and consulting services for setting up AI Policy, Governance and Risk Management frameworks.
With over 23 years of deep industry experience in designing, developing and deploying AI and machine learning powered applications, Tanusree is a thought leader in her field. She has set up and scaled practices in AI, Responsible AI and Analytics. Tanusree has published several technical papers on Explainable AI in reputed peer-reviewed journals. She has been an invited speaker in various conferences, workshops and events on AI and Responsible AI. Tanusree is a member of the UK-India Responsible and Trustworthy AI Working Group formed by the British High Commission. She has also been part of many roundtable discussions on Responsible AI organized by Nasscom.
Tanusree holds an M.Sc. in Economics from University of Calcutta with specialization in Statistics and Econometrics, and a B.Sc. with Honors in Economics from Presidency University, erstwhile Presidency College under University of Calcutta.
