Swethnisha Panicker

Swethnisha Panicker is the Global Head of Application Technology at Merck KGaA (the science and technology company with a 354 year old legacy in pharmaceuticals).She is responsible for Merck’s corporate application landscape and her portfolio includes global IT programs, new technology PoCs and enterprise scale digital initiatives across Marketing & Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, Data Analytics and ERP. Swethnisha has served several leadership roles at Merck, previously heading Data & Analytics, Custom Applications and Enterprise UX.
Outside of work, Swethnisha is a water sports enthusiast who recharges herself on weekends with surfing, paddle boarding, scuba diving and has represented Kerala as a competitive whitewater kayaker at the nationals. Despite this, she still struggles to meet her daily water intake.
