Prajakta is currently the Head of HR for Technology at Flipkart. In this role, she leads the human resources function for the technology organization. During her tenure at Flipkart, she has also led HR for several other critical functions, including Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Recommerce, and Minutes. Additionally, served as the Organization and Talent Development leader at Flipkart. In this capacity, she oversaw key areas such as Performance, Talent Development, People Analytics, Inclusion & Diversity, and Leadership & Learning &
Development. A Postgraduate with 21 years of international experience in large business partnership as well as functional HR roles, specializing in talent development, employee relations, leadership development, and inclusion & diversity.
Prior to Flipkart, Prajakta worked across multiple GE businesses in different roles. Some of the roles she played: she led Leadership Programs & Culture for the 65,000+ workforce globally at Baker Hughes, a GE company. She was the HR Leader for GE’s Oil & Gas business in South Asia. She was the Global University Recruiting leader for GE leading key programs to implement GE’s global university recruiting strategy across all regions around the world, amongst others.
Recipient of ‘Young HR Leader 2019’, ‘2018 India HR 40 under 40’ and GE HRLP graduate (Human Resources Leadership Program) She holds a Master’s in Training & Development from Oakland University, Michigan and a Master’s degree in German Literature from Pune University, India. She has an undergraduate degree in Zoology from Ferguson College, Pune
