When anyone asks me, “Where are you from?” I always say, “I am from India,” and I’m a proud Indian. Growing up in a defense family has shaped my identity beyond states, languages, or regions. I’ve had the privilege of studying across multiple states. After graduating from NIFT in 2004 with a degree in fashion design, I worked in Mumbai, Delhi, and now Bangalore, my current city.
My experience has been primarily in women’s, kids’, and men’s fashion, collaborating with some of the top retailers in the country, such as Shoppers Stop, Pantaloons, FirstCry, and design houses like Anita Dongre. I’ve also had the opportunity to create my own designer label.
If I had to describe myself in one line, I would say: I am a learner.
The more challenging the environment, the better | thrive. It helps me grow, succeed, and understand myself better.
