Marshniel is a Sr. Vice President and India Data lead at Moody’s Rating. She has 20 years of combined experience in technology, design and data mainly in the banking and financial services domain. By virtue of having been in the industry for two decades, she has donned various hats – as a software and data engineer at Tata Consulting Services Limited and Innovation and Design Lead with Société Générale Global Solutions Centre and Morgan Stanley.
She specializes in Data engineering and architecture, Digital Transformation, Design Thinking, Innovation and Strategic Program implementations on emerging technologies. Her expertise lies in leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities, streamline operations, and deliver sustainable results. Currently, she is exploring Generative AI at work and how it will change the data landscape within the organisation.
Marshniel holds a Master’s degree from BIT Mesra. She is a mother of a 13yr old boy and a parent to a 4 year old indie dog. She is extremely passionate about Diversity and Inclusion at work, loves photography and yoga. She enjoys cycling or running early mornings to relish Bangalore sans traffic and manage some peace and quiet before day kicks in. Being an introvert – books and music are her constant companion.
