Gangapriya Chakraverti

Gangapriya Chakraverti is the India Site Leader and Managing Director at Ford’s Business Solutions, a 12000+ strong organization, headquartered in Chennai, India. She joined Ford as Director – Human Resources in 2012 after spending over a decade at Mercer Consulting. Prior to being a consultant at Mercer, she was with the Murugappa Group, where she joined as a Management Trainee.
Gangapriya has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Women’s Christian College, Chennai and a post graduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Gangapriya is training to be a coach and is a Certified Diversity Professional from the Diversity Training University International, San Francisco. She was recently honored with the Excellence in Business Leadership Award as part of the ‘World of Women’ 2023 awards presented by The Hindu.
With an abiding interest in issues related to Diversity and Inclusion and Wellness, she practices yoga to give her a sense of balance that seems elusive. Besides work, she gains energy from being outdoors with nature for company, appreciating art and making sense of issues in our increasingly complex world.
