Dr. Caroline West is a highly accomplished Medical Doctor, Wellness Expert, and Media/TV Health Presenter and Producer. With a strong passion for health and wellness, she believes in the power of small steps to improve our health destiny. Dr. West completed her medical degree (MBBS) at The University of NSW, Australia, and holds a Fellowship with the Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM). She is also fully registered as a specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority. Throughout her career, Dr. West has been involved in various medical roles and initiatives. This includes serving remote communities as a former Royal Flying Doctor and working extensively with remote Aboriginal communities. She has been an advocate for health causes such as World Sight Day, Chronic Pain, and City Sydney Cycling. Dr. West has received recognition for her outstanding achievements in community medicine, including winning the UNSW University Prize. She has been the host of several popular TV programs, including ABC’s “Ask the Doctor” series and the Catalyst Documentary series. With her extensive experience in hosting events and masterclasses, she has collaborated with major corporations such as Commonwealth Bank, KPMG, and Australia Post. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. West enjoys activities such as ocean swimming, hiking, playing the guitar, and ukulele. She even established the Royal Flying Doctors Ukulele group in remote Australia.
